Professional and Personal Background

Dr. Eduardo Bustamante received his medical degree from Northwestern University and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of South Florida. He then practiced for several years in Florida and most recently in the state of Oregon.

Dr. Bustamante brings years of training and experience to the Northwoods providing the latest technology and techniques in the field of ophthalmology and cataract surgery. This expertise includes the use of multifocal and toric lens implants, MIGS for patients with glaucoma and various lasers used in eye care.

Dr. Bustamante provides comprehensive eye exams, emergency eye care and state-of-the-art cataract surgery performed locally at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, Marshfield Medical Center in Minocqua, and Flambeau Hospital in Park Falls.

Dr. Bustamante is board certified in ophthalmology and is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Bustamante enjoys traveling and outdoor recreation including fishing.
