About Dr. Benjamin Redman, O.D.
Professional and Personal Background
Dr. Benjamin K. Redman was born and raised in Minocqua, Wisconsin and graduated from Lakeland Union High School in 2001. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in biological sciences from Beloit College in 2005. While attending the Indiana University School of Optometry, he met Dr. Jill C. Redman, and they were married in December, 2007. They both received their four-year Doctorate of Optometry degree in May of 2009.
Dr. Redman has completed ocular disease and pediatric clinical rotations in Guanajuato, Mexico and Miami, Florida. He also received extensive training with all forms of contact lenses at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. In his Bloomington, Indiana rotation, Dr. Redman provided low-vision care for patients with severe vision problems (low vision) due to diseases such as macular degeneration.
Dr. Redman is excited to be returning to the area and providing eye care to the residents of the Northwood's. In his free time, he enjoys being with his wife, Jill, and their dog, Jack. He can often be found out on the lake fishing or enjoying other outdoor activities.
